Extraordinary travel requires time. The best properties sell out months in advance. Exclusive experiences require lead time to arrange. Event tickets for the Olympics, major sporting events, and cultural festivals often require booking a year or more ahead.
All engagements are expected a minimum of 90 days before travel. For inquiries within 90 days of departure, a 20% expedited service fee applies to the planning fee, reflecting the additional urgency required to deliver the Moments of Sonder standard.
Before any planning begins, every client starts with a $75 consultation call with our team. This is a focused conversation, not a sales pitch. It is how we understand your travel vision, your group, your purpose, and which service is the right fit for what you need.
This $75 is credited toward your planning fee at whichever tier you choose. If you decide not to move forward, it is non-refundable. The Reserve (hotel-only booking) is the only service that does not require a consultation call.
From your first message to your last memory, here is how every Moments of Sonder journey unfolds.
When you book your $75 consultation call, you complete a short intake form before we ever speak. It asks for your contact information and your initial travel ideas, destinations you have been dreaming about, the kind of experience you are hoping for, who you are traveling with, and anything else on your mind. This form is not a formality. It is the preparation that makes the conversation meaningful.
When our team connects with you, we already understand your starting point. The call goes deeper faster. You are not spending the first twenty minutes explaining yourself. You are already in the real conversation, the one that helps us understand what this journey truly needs to be. The $75 is credited toward your planning fee when you move forward. If you do not, it is non-refundable, but the conversation itself will have given you genuine clarity and direction.
Once we have agreed on the right service tier, your planning fee is confirmed and collected. This is the commitment that begins our working relationship. It is non-refundable, and it is never applied toward the cost of your trip. It is purely the fee for our team's expertise, time, and access.
For The Compass, this is $300 per city (two cities: $500 · three cities: $700). For Designed Around Your Purpose, it is $175 per trip day with an $875 minimum. For Seamless, Elevated and Hands-Off, the fee is $4,500 for journeys under ten days or $6,000 for ten days or more. Cruise and Rail Coordination is priced by cabin count, starting at $450. Fees for The Collection and Maison Sonder are confirmed on the consultation call. Every planning fee is confirmed before work begins and is never applied toward the cost of your trip.
For Cruise and Rail Coordination, Designed Around Your Purpose, and above, we go deeper. A dedicated session, separate from the initial consultation call, is where your advisor explores the questions that most travel planning completely skips. What does this journey need to feel like? What is its purpose? Who are the people taking it, and what does this trip need to do for them?
The depth of this session varies by service. For Cruise and Rail, it is a voyage identification session: your advisor finds the right sailing or rail journey based on what you want to experience and how you travel. For Designed Around Your Purpose, it is a focused discovery call built around the purpose and design intent of the journey. For Seamless, The Collection, and Maison Sonder, it expands into a full Vision Session covering preferences, pace, non-negotiables, and the full shape of the experience.

We build your itinerary from the ground up. Not a template. Not a catalogue selection. A custom journey designed around who you are, where you are going, and what this trip is meant to do for you. Properties are chosen for their soul as much as their stars. Experiences are sequenced so the journey has a rhythm and a pace that lets wonder actually land.
What you receive depends on your service. For The Compass, this is a curated day-by-day framework: a complete, thoughtfully sequenced guide delivered in one pass with no revision rounds. For Cruise and Rail Coordination, this is a voyage itinerary covering pre-voyage days, the on-board schedule stop by stop, all booked excursions, and post-voyage days. For Designed Around Your Purpose, the itinerary is fully custom with two revision rounds. For Seamless and above, revisions continue through the active design phase until the itinerary is approved.
What gets booked depends on your service tier, and we want to be clear about exactly what that looks like.
The Compass: Moments of Sonder books your hotel, activating preferred partner relationships so you arrive with the right amenities and recognition. Ground transportation coordination is included. Dining recommendations are yours to book directly. Flights are not booked, but suggestions are provided. All other bookings are yours to handle using our curated guidance.
Designed and above: We handle accommodations, restaurant reservations, ground transportation, private guides, and pre-booked excursions and activities. For cruise and rail travel, cabin selection and all related booking coordination is managed on your behalf. Flight suggestions are provided at the Compass, Cruise and Rail, and Designed levels. At Seamless, flight coordination is fully included, with private air quotes available upon request.
At every tier, every booking runs through our preferred partner network. The hotel knows you are arriving before you do.
Before you leave, your advisor walks you through everything. Every confirmation number, every contact at every property, every transfer arranged, every experience reserved. You will know exactly what to expect from the moment you land. You will not arrive wondering what comes next. You will arrive ready.
The document you receive varies by service. The Reserve receives booking confirmations directly. The Compass receives a beautifully formatted curated guide for the destination. Cruise and Rail Coordination and above receive a fully branded Moments of Sonder travel document, a complete, executable reference covering every booking, every contact, and every confirmation in one place, and a dedicated pre-departure conversation with your advisor.

The best moments of your journey will not be the ones we planned. The level of post-trip follow-up depends on your service. The Reserve and The Compass are self-directed services; there is no formal follow-up after the journey. Cruise and Rail Coordination includes a light follow-up to confirm everything went smoothly. Designed Around Your Purpose and above include a full post-trip conversation.
When you return from a Designed or Seamless journey, your advisor checks in. We want to know how it went, what moved you, what surprised you, and what we should know for next time. Your experience, honestly shared, shapes how future journeys are designed, for you and for every client who comes after you.
For Tier 3 clients in The Collection, there is additionally a formal Annual Travel Review, a dedicated forward-looking conversation that maps the year ahead and captures everything the year behind gave you. The relationship deepens with every journey. That is the whole point.
