Moments of Sonder, LLC ("Moments of Sonder Travel," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, website visitors, and prospective clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information gathered through our website (MomentsofSonderTravel.com), our contact and intake forms, and our business communications.

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information we collect and process in the course of operating our travel advisory business. By using our website or engaging our services, you consent to the practices described in this policy. Information You Provide Directly

  • Submit a consultation intake form, name, email address, phone number, travel destination interests, approximate travel dates, trip length, group size, trip purpose, travel style preferences, approximate accommodations budget, how you found us, and any notes you choose to share
  • Submit a Reserve booking request, name, email address, phone number, property name, check-in and check-out dates, number of rooms, guest configuration per room, room preferences, and special requests
  • Correspond with us, any information you share via email, phone, or other communications during our working relationship
  • Provide payment information, processed through third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment processors; Moments of Sonder Travel does not store full payment card numbers
Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location

  • To provide travel advisory services, designing itineraries, making bookings, and managing your travel arrangements
  • To communicate with you, responding to inquiries, sending booking confirmations and travel documents, and following up before and after your trip
  • To process payments, facilitating transactions through our third-party payment processors
  • To improve our services, understanding how our website is used and how we can better serve our clients
  • To comply with legal obligations, maintaining records as required by California Seller of Travel regulations and other applicable law
  • For marketing purposes, sharing destination content and travel inspiration across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, and sending relevant communications about our services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Travel Suppliers

We share necessary booking information, including traveler names, dates of birth, passport details, and special requirements, with hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and other suppliers required to fulfill your travel arrangements. Each supplier operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service.

Service Providers

We work with carefully selected third-party service providers who assist in operating our business, including:

  • Tern.travel, our travel business management platform, where client itineraries, booking records, trip details, and associated client information are stored and managed
  • Payment processors, PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors for handling payment transactions
  • Google Workspace, email, calendar, and document management
  • Namecheap / WordPress, website hosting and content management
  • Google Analytics, website traffic analysis
  • Meta Business Suite, social media management and advertising across Facebook and Instagram
  • TikTok for Business, content publishing and performance analytics on TikTok
  • YouTube / Google, video content hosting and channel analytics

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it for the specific services they provide to us. Each operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Moments of Sonder Travel, our clients, or others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We have enabled IP anonymization in our Google Analytics setup, which means that Google will truncate your IP address within EU member states and other contracting states before transmission. The full IP address is only transmitted to Google servers in the United States in exceptional cases.

Google Analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. Moments of Sonder Travel also uses Google Workspace for business email, document storage, and calendar management. Information shared via email or stored in Google Workspace is subject to Google's terms of service.

Meta, TikTok & Social Media Platforms

Moments of Sonder Travel maintains business profiles on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and uses Meta Business Suite to manage our social media presence, track post performance, measure reach and impressions, and run advertising campaigns. Meta may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to track users across its platforms and partner websites.

The Meta Pixel is installed on this website. This allows Meta to track website visitor actions, such as page views and form submissions, to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to deliver relevant advertising to users of Meta platforms. This tracking is subject to Meta's Data Policy, available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

If you interact with our Facebook or Instagram business profiles, including liking, commenting on, sharing, or messaging our content, those interactions are subject to Meta's privacy policy. We may see aggregate analytics about our audience and post performance. We do not share your personal client information with Meta beyond what is collected automatically through the Pixel.

You may adjust your Meta advertising preferences by visiting your Facebook Ad Preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.

TikTok

Moments of Sonder Travel maintains a TikTok business account and uses TikTok for Business to publish travel content and access performance analytics including views, reach, and engagement metrics. TikTok may use cookies and similar technologies to track user interactions with our content and to deliver relevant advertising. TikTok's handling of your data is governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy, available at tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy. You may adjust your TikTok ad preferences within the TikTok app under Settings > Privacy.

YouTube

Moments of Sonder Travel uses YouTube to host and share travel-related video content. YouTube is operated by Google LLC. If you interact with our YouTube channel, including viewing, liking, commenting on, or subscribing to our content, those interactions are subject to Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. YouTube analytics provide aggregate performance data about our channel and video content. We do not share personal client information through YouTube.

Tern.travel, Business Management Platform

Moments of Sonder Travel uses Tern.travel as its primary travel business management platform. Client information, including contact details, itinerary records, booking history, trip preferences, and related correspondence, is stored and managed within Tern. This allows Priscilla to design, manage, and deliver travel services efficiently and accurately across all client engagements.

Tern.travel operates as a data processor on behalf of Moments of Sonder Travel. Your information is shared with Tern solely for the purpose of delivering the travel advisory and booking services you have engaged us to provide. Tern.travel's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy and terms of service, available at tern.travel. Moments of Sonder Travel retains responsibility for how your data is used within our business operations.

Data Retention & Security
How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide travel services, comply with legal obligations under California Seller of Travel regulations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For active clients, we retain booking and communication records for a minimum of seven years. Analytics data collected through Google Analytics is retained according to our Google Analytics settings, with a default retention period of 26 months.

How We Protect Your Information

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include use of PCI-DSS compliant payment processors, secure communications via Google Workspace, and access controls limiting who within Moments of Sonder Travel can access personal client information.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your CCPA Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information. These rights include:
